UNT Symphony Orchestra and Grand Chorus present Turandot with faculty, student and guest soloists

<p>The University of North Texas Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Itkin, and Grand Chorus, directed by Allen Hightower, will present a concert performance of <em>Turandot</em>, Puccini’s final opera set in ancient China where Princess Turandot reigns with an iron fist and a cold heart. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. April 26 (Wednesday) in in the <strong>College of Music</strong>’s Margot and Bill Winspear Performance Hall in the Murchison Performing Arts Center, 2100 Interstate 35E, Denton.</p>

UNT Opera to perform Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites

<p>The University of North Texas Opera will present Poulenc’s <em>Dialogues of the Carmelites</em>, a dramatic tale of love, martyrdom and sacrifice. Directed by David Ward and conducted by Stephen Dubberly, the performances will take place at 8 p.m. April 6 (Thursday), 7 (Friday) and 8 (Saturday) and 3 p.m. April 9 (Sunday) in the Lyric Theater at the Murchison Performing Arts Center.</p>

P.R.I.N.T Open House on April 6 will feature artwork that gives viewers a 'visual conundrum'

<p>The Print Research Institute of North Texas (P.R.I.N.T) will show off innovative artwork — an image that creates a “visual conundrum” — from San Marcos printmaker Jeffrey Dell at its open house from 4 to 7 p.m. April 6 (Thursday). P.R.I.N.T, part of the University of North Texas’ College of Visual Arts and Design, will feature a demonstration and interactive printing of the artwork as part of the event.</p>
