UNT researchers develop material that could lead to next-generation, ultra-thin electronic devices

<p>University of North Texas researchers in the College of Engineering’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering have created a uniform, thin, two-dimensional material that could revolutionize materials science. Their research has been published in Nature’s “Scientific Reports” journal.</p>

Inventive works on display at Metalsmithing and Jewelry: Lineages exhibition Feb. 9-March 17 at UNT on the Square

<p>The newest exhibition at UNT on the Square shows metalsmithing and jewelry from artists who do more than put beads on a string – alongside the work of the people who inspired them. The Metalsmithing and Jewelry: Lineages exhibition will run from Feb. 9 (Friday) to March 17 (Saturday). Opening reception is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9 (Friday).</p>

Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science students honored in national Regeneron Science Talent Search

<p><span style="color:#000000;">The Regeneron Science Talent Search is one of the nation's most prestigious pre-college science competitions. The TAMS students are among 18 students from Texas, and 300 students in the U.S., chosen as semifinalists from more than 1,800 students who entered their original research projects in the competition.</span></p>
